90 day tourist visa

Morning everyone

I have just signed up, having read the fortums a lot before deciding to move to Qatar I thought it was time i joined in!

I will be coming to Qatar in December. My employer is arranging my RP and I have my 5 year work visa now.

My wife will be travelling with me, but initially arriving on the standard 90 day on arrival visa that is granted for Greek citizens (as I dont have my RP to apply for a longer visit visa for her)

My question was - can she enter without a return ticket? We will have proof of funds to buy a return but we do not want to confirm the exit date yet (other than within 90 days).

I emailed the embassy but they told me to email the directorate of passports. I emailed them on [email protected] but it failed.

Does anyone know, as obviously we do not want to arrive and then have trouble!

Thanks

Alex

Hi both thanks for the replies. No I haven't asked the company. I did some more googling and found people matching molten suggestion...By a Flexi or just buy a cheap ticket to anywhere out of Qatar and rip it up once you're through customs. Ironically, once I checked, to buy a return is only about 40 pound (250qar) extra over the one way....go figure. So we'll just book a return for best part of 3 months and see what we want to do nearer the time

Get a return ticket for her, after she arrives here you can cancel or alter it as per her future travel dates. No worries at all.
