1. Market by Jean Georges
Where: The W Hotel & Residences

Atmosphere: The decor here oozes simple elegance that is refreshing yet unsuspicious - perfect for group-friendly dining. Jean George’s concept is “hotel as a home”, and it is clearly portrayed in his restaurant, as the simple decor barely disturbs the reverential calm, making subsequent visits a whole lot easier.
Food: Classic food from tables all around the world but with deeply flavoured creative twists. Their business lunch menu is nothing short of exceptional, and offers chef Vongerichten’s signature dishes.

2. Spice Market
Where: The W Hotel & Residences
When: Saturday-Thursday, 12-4pm
Atmosphere: Exotic, soulful and secluded interior, perfect for intimate meetings and conversation. This spot is generally busy but still feels quite private due to its large stretch, dark interior and spaced out seating arrangements.
Food: Another venture by wunderkind Chef Vongerichten that offers exceptional south-east asian food, that takes humble local ingredients and turns them into something glamorous. Their business lunch offers some of the eye-catching dishes from their regular a la carte menu. Brace yourself for some extraordinary conceits including a variety of sushi assortments, dim sum, and classic asian palate openers.

3. Belgian Cafe
Where: Intercontinental Doha Hotel & Residences
When: Sunday-Thursday, 12-3 pm
Atmosphere: Belgium meets the UK. Traditional and moody, wood-panelled and leathery and has a big city pub feeling to it; but with a superb view of the sea. Always buzzing with music, and live performances to make sure your time is exceptionally well spent. With its laid-back vibe, its perfect for whether you’re suited and booted or not.
Food: The business lunch is a scaled back version of their standard menu without compromising some of their house favourites.They’ve got the classic pub options and a moreish selection of appetizers to share with your colleagues. The best mussels and Belgian frites in town are found here, and are luckily not sacrificed on their business lunch menu!

4. The Square

Atmosphere: Simple and uncomplicated. The Square provides a decent environment to chat and do business away from large crowds.
Food: Food is underwhelming and comforting without sacrificing any flavour, which is great for days when you want something unpretentious for an afternoon pick-me-up. Lunch includes a variety of local seafood, impressive salad bar options and an unavoidable dessert table!

5. La Veranda

Atmosphere: The ambience here scores all the points as the terrace outside has a spectacular view of the sea and it really doesn't get much better than that. Although the decor may seem a bit 70’s, it still has a rather charming and timeless feel about it.
Food: One of the best antipasti buffets in Qatar, as it includes a large selections of salads, cheeses, charcuterie and a raw bar. Their set main courses include great options for everyone, and their unlimited dessert bar is nothing short of delicious.

Food: Quick, easy and hits the spot. A perfect fuss-free fare for those who are in a rush, and want to indulge in a variety of fresh and uncomplicated buffet options. With a sumptuous array of traditional and contemporary assortments, you are surely going to find something that satisfies your appetite.

Atmosphere: Large space with a classy mediterranean feel to it. Has a great breezy outdoor terrace for days when the weather is in our favour.
Food: Impeccable taste and quality for all the mediterranean seafood lovers. Their best specialities are slightly scaled back for lunch, but are in no way less exquisite. Perfect place for longer lunches and meetings - don’t trust this place to be a speedy trip out of the office.

Atmosphere: Bright, airy and welcoming environment for a leisurely lunch or client meeting. The restaurant is quite fancy and impressive yet without having an unpretentious feel to it.
Food: When it comes to Gordon Ramsey’s passion for food, you can’t expect anything short of amazing at his only restaurant in Qatar. Atmosphere: From the runners on the tables to the lights in the room, the place presents itself nicely. It may feel a bit outdated and gloomy, but it does have a cozy ambience that is sometimes hard to encounter at many buffets.
Food: International buffet including a moderate selection of dishes from Middle-Eastern, Asian, Italian and Western cuisine. They have comfort food to satisfy all kinds of taste buds. A cheaper buffet option for the indecisive ones who want just a little bit of everything.

10. White Oryx Thai Restaurant

Atmosphere: Decor is rather suave and sophisticated for those who want to impress a client to clinch a business deal over a midday meal.
Food: Using the finest selection of beef, produce and local sourced ingredients, their business lunch menu includes items like citrus scented carrot soup, U.S.D.A. petite steak-frites with black peppercorn-mustard sauce, steamed hong-kong style salmon and much more. If that doesn't say enough, let’s CUT to the chase - the meals were constructed by one of the most iconic chef’s in the world!

13. Seasonal Tastes
Where: The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa
When: Saturday-Thursday, 12:30-3pm
Atmosphere: Casual and laid-back. The decor clean and sophisticated and by no means overpowering for Qatari standards.
Food: All-inclusive buffet that includes live cooking stations, a sushi buffet as well as local seafood one. The selections of food are appropriate for everyone as they include many traditional and contemporary options. Any buffet with live stations and an abundance of food will most likely cause erratic pauses, so this is definitely more suitable for casual lunches with colleagues in preference to business meetings.
