Grand opening of Manko Restaurant & Lounge this evening!
A new upscale Paris-based restaurant and lounge is set to open this evening exclusively at Intercontinental Doha. Prepare yourselves for this classy newcomer will offer a fusion of Peruvian cuisine and Japanese traditions, courtesy of Peruvian celebrity chef, Gastón Acurio.
Acurio leads around forty restaurants in all four corners of the world and will open Manko Restaurant and Lounge, as his first in the Middle East. The trendy demand for Peruvian food is proving no flash in the pan and Doha jumped onto the bandwagon by allowing everyone this unique experience. Inspired by chic and contemporary Parisian decor, the lounge offers an outgoing and social atmosphere with a rooftop terrace that displays unimpeded panoramic views of the gulf and skyline. From sunset to late night, the place boasts energy with a talented line-up of renowned DJs directly from the French capital.
Their menu offers specially curated Nikkei oriented menu, an exquisite selection of nigiris, grilled selections as well as smaller dishes that celebrate other Peruvian favourites and the exuberance of the Amazon. Sharing is famously a quintessential food practice among Peruvian culture, and the menu delivers a variety of dishes to divvy up with others.
