German cars
hello team,
i just arrived to Doha and I would like to buy a car, I had been told that German cars are not recommended to Qatar due to the extrémaux weather conditions,
Please advise and give me your opinion about the cars listed below
Mini Cooper
BMW série 3
mercedes c class
mustang/canari/challenger
Porsche are not German. They are Italian. can only be maintained at porsche centers or 2 or 3 garage in Qatar. Normal service will cost around 3k. Tires can cost around 6k. Can be maintained with these figures if car you buy has had oil seals replaced at regular intervals and no leaks. Any major part replacement and you are looking at cost around 10k.

Guys how much money are we talking about here with regards to spare parts and labor? Especially for the Porsche Cayenne?

You can get them easily. Maintaining them is hard. Spare parts are very costly and labour charges are very high cuz german car mechanics are few. Like Molten mentioned, buy Prado and enjoy Qatar rather than spending your hard earned money on car maintenance.
I myself owns a german car (vw touareg) they're pretty good! however, maintenance wise, they're expensive and hard to find spare parts (unless you're willing to service your car in the service center)
Prado is the best for you ....................
