Hi Nowfal,

Yes,Law passed on Nov 2018. Later MOI gave Exemption to only some nationalities. May be its not updated in website.

@nowfal18...

I will explain...If you check traffic Law

Zebra Crossing is the only place on the road where a pedestrian can cross the road...

But if there is no Zebra crossing on the road..I think you are going to take a TAXI to take a u turn to cross the road...

Welcome to 2019...dont be in dreams....and read laws in books...see what is happening around...

The signal may be RED...but you will have to follow the Traffic police if he asks you to move in RED.

Sorry for a difficult answer

@Saran_hifi & @Pioneerpec - As per MOI website information.

The duration of the visa cannot be extended beyond 30 days.

@Pioneerpec: How did your relative extend the visa? Did they extend it online?

No need for any statement or the same day ATM card statement .

No need for 1 lakh INR in the account.

My relative arrived Qatar .......Please find below what he had:

1) Hotel booking for 30 days (Which had free cancellation..... I cancelled after he arrive)

2) Debit card / ATM Card / Credit in his Name...no need any balance inside.... nobody gonna check

3) Return ticket with 1 month or 2 month gap

4) ECNR Passport valid for more than 6 months

Airport immigration in India asked for Both Hotel booking and Debit /ATM/ Credit Card .....

In Qatar Immigration they asked which hotel you will be staying ? He quickly told the hotel name and they stamped visa for one month. (He had print out of Hotel booking..but they didnt ask for it)

He was able to extend visa for 2 Months on the same day of arrival..

Hi Irfan,

Arrival Visa is can be extended one more month for Indians, So two months your family can stay in Qatar.

Four things need to be Shown in Indian Airport...

1. Your Wife and Child Passport must be 6 Month Valid from the date of Entry.

2. Return Air ticket for your after 30 days from the date of Entry(Later you can postponed the Air ticket )

3. Hotel Booking is needed, if you are not coming with them.

4. Debit or Credit card needed, But, no need to show the balance.( Card under your name or wife name)

That's it... I have shared my own experience...

Doha Welcomes your Family....

Cheers...
