Job change within Qatar.
Hi.. I would like to know a answer with solution for my below query related to Job change within Qatar.
I am trying for a job change within Qatar and which is about to be successful soon. But the New Employer is asking whether I have Transferable Visa or NOC from my present Employer. Can anybody let me know what exactly does this mean and is it applicable to be obtained in my case which is explained below.
As far as I know as per new implemented law in Qatar for job change it is not mandatory to obtain NOC from current employer if the contract period with the employer is completed or already expired. I am also in same condition but I would prefer to switch to new company without exiting the country.
Is NOC from present employer mandatory for this case?? Does Visa transfer also required?
The reason for changing without exiting is since I have my family here with me and would not want to go through new Visa process for self and family which would take months as well as to avoid the hassle of cancelling my home, sell car etc. prior exiting and then again start all over once again.
Hope my explanation is clear and looking for reply from anybody with the detailed process and required documentations to get the above things achieved without facing issues.
