Project / Site Engineer_Mechanical (UPDA MMUP Regd.) - 8 Years Experience (With Valid Qatar Driving License)

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Overseeing  and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines,budgets and Project quality standards (as per QCS 2014, SH3514-2001 for Petrochemical equipments and  GB 50205-2001 for Steel structures) 
• Implemented quality control procedures in compliance with multiple quality standards such as QCS 2014 & API Standards for mechanical equipment installation and maintenance of rotary & static equipment such as pumps, tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers and HVAC systems.
• Implemented quality control procedures in compliance with multiple quality standards such as QCS 2014 & AWS D1.1 for Steel structural installation works and welding procedures.
• Implemented quality control procedures in compliance with ASME B31.3 for Pressure piping .
• Monitoring and supervising construction activities on-site, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
•  Computer Aided Designing and drafting in Industrial and commercial construction field.
•  Quantity Surveying, Preparation of BOQ & Estimation based on Project specifications and requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of project progress, daily rerports, preparation of Technical reports, Method Statement, Lifting plan, documents concerning safety regulations & other relevant documentation.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team, resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project.
• Serving as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries and providing regular updates on project status.
• Leading and motivating a team of workers, ensuring effective collaboration by planning, Co-ordinating & arranging Manpower, Equipments and Machinery for productivity on-site.
• Monitoring project costs and expenses, identifying areas for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
• Co-ordinating with Surveyor for marking the site based on approved drawings from client, for preparing survey reports and for arranging inspection with QA/QC team.
• Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Co-ordinating with QA/QC team for inspection before & after work completion, arranging for NDT, Pressure tests based on approved Inspection Test Plan
• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Preparing As-built / Red markup drawings.
