An Agent offering Free Company Visa and Air ticket to a Qatar Supermarket

I am currently in India and worked as an Accountant in Oman 1 Year ago. Now I got an Offer from an agent and he said A supermarket in Qatar looking for Assistant Accountant cum Cashier vacancy and Salary will be 2000 QR. Food and Accommodation will be free. I do not need to pay anything before landing in Qatar. The company will deduct 30000INR from my salary as installments for the visa. He collect my documents and told me to go for medical and send to company. Can i believe him ? I there is any chance for fraud after i land to qatar? Or shall i believe him as he not taking any money from me ?
The sponsor MUST pay the fees for the visa! The deduction from your salary is ILLEGAL! Don't fall for these criminals!
As Accha said, check with the employer.
Per my understanding, the employer needs to pay all charges. Recruitment, one way ticket back, etc etc.
Personally, I feel this is not right. But you can check on the net regarding the employer and your query with them.
There are so many victims to this kind of trap. People can go upto any extent to earn money. That particular company may or may not be legitimate. All i want to say is be careful man.
Take a chance then and just hope for the best.
The reason I had doubts is because I have come across so many cases of agents playing all sorts of game to cheat people out of their money. They think of newer ways of cheating. I have not come across a single agent so far who is honest in his business.
Thanks for the valuable reply. The vacancy was for a supermarket. After 6 months they will deduct 15000INR then after another 6 Month 15000INR. but in what sense he can fraud us ? Because he is not asking for any cash ......
The best thing for you do in the current situation is to try and find out the name of the company in Doha you will be working for and then check with the company if such a job exists and whether they have this agent in India. That could make you a bit sure. Check with the agent in how many installments the total amount will be deducted.
It is difficult to say at this stage if the offer could be a fraud or a genuine one. There are simply so many "games" being played and new ones by such agents to cheat people out of their money.
