Moving in 3-4 months. Suggestions for good neighbourhoods?

Hi guys,

So I'm moving to Qatar after this Covid-19 thing dies down a little and needed some advice on places to move.

After having a look around I've concluded that West Bay would be the best place for me to live as it is exactly what I want, in that, there's; loads of people, hustling & bustling and it seems like the place where expats are.

My company has offered to put up 6600 drm's towards accommodation so I'm hoping that can find me a really nice flat in that area. My work from there is half an hour drive so that's not an issue.
I would like to extend the shortlist beyond West Bay as I want to explore my options so it would be good to see where else I could stay and what locations other people have enjoyed living in.

Thanks, I look forward to your reply!

If he talks about UAE Dirhams it corresponds to approximately US $ 1,800 or 6,500 QR. He might find a simple 1 or 2 bedroom accommodation for that amount.

Aceizbad: The first and the "most important" thing you need to do is to find out a bit more about Qatar. From your post, it appears you have zero knowledge about the country you wish to move over to.

If you are sure you are moving over to Qatar, then let me assure you that in 6600 dirhams per month you will be able to get just several boxes of chocolate-coated biscuits or cookies as some nations call it. You will definitely not find living space anywhere in Doha, not even shared ones in that amount of money..

Suggest you do some research on this country to get to know the basics before you make long-tern plans.
