Hi guys, I want to buy TV, fridge, washung machine, microwave, a bed with mattress, a cupboard and writting table with chair for myself (01 person). please advice where can I buy 2nd hand items . and how much cash is required for such things, as I am new to Qatar; therefore no idea of local prices.

I would say at least 4 to 5k ....the thing you might have make effort to make it happen and compromise your needs from wants.You can get the bed and the washing machine first and since people are moving you can check with the sellers if they have any other items for sale which you need and get a bulk discount.
Aside from the QL Items and Services section, you may get bargains from people selling on Facebook. Try to join Qatar selling and buying groups.

Buying from people who are about to leave is a good option as the chances are you will find items in running condition. There is a Souq Haraj in Najma where you can find second-hand items. But the sellers there demand a very high price, almost as good for a new item and then there is no surety if the electronic items will continue working once you reach home.
