Aspire Zone Foundation to host the eighth edition of Qatar’s Strongest Man
Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) had announced that strength athletics can now register for the eighth edition of Qatar’s Strongest Man (QSM), which is set to take place on January 22, 2021.
Those who wish to participate in this tournament can register through Aspire Zone’s website and will then be required to successfully complete the physical challenges to proceed to the competition.
Moreover, there is a QAR 100 fee for those who wish to register for this tournament.
Challenges include a 200kg deadlift, a farmer’s 20m walk while carrying 120 kg in each arm, and a giant 160kg tire flip.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Aspire Zone Foundation takes all preventive precautions to prevent the spread of Coronavirus by taking all precautions and precautionary measures by setting up checkpoints to Ehteraz App, measure temperature, and will require individuals to wear a mask at all times.
AZF will run the qualification rounds on January 8 and 15, from 4 pm till 6 pm. A technical meeting will also be organized by AZF to familiarize participants with the rules of the competition.
