Hi everybody.

I have an opportunitie in Doha.

I would like to ask you if a 10,000 per month is enough for me and my family? We have a 4 years old son.

I know I need to ask for some allowence. How much should I ask for?

Housing, schooling, transportantion?

RSF

Thank you

I would suggest you do some research online. Before I came to Qatar, I checked online to see if the salary I was offered is on the same par of similar jobs in other companies. I know it is difficult to negotiate without a baseline.

But something is more than just salary, you must get everything absolutely clear before you say yes to that offer. They won't tell if you dont ask.

It is a good salary.

A 2-bedroom apartment will cost you around QR4500 per month. Other expenses will be food, water & power plus miscellaneous expenses and these should be around QR 2000 per month. The rest should be in your pocket.

As for your query "How much should I ask for?", human nature is never satisfied. The sky is the limit.
