Qatari students, students from other GCC nations, children of Qatari women, and expatriates working in government sectors, she noted, are all eligible to register.
Moreover, she explained that this is a continuation of the early registration process which had opened in May and ended in mid of June 2021 for Qatari students, those from other GCC countries, and children of Qatari women.
Furthermore, parents can access the Ministry portal by entering their username and password, then giving the appropriate student information and documents according to the applicant’s nationality.
She requested that the parents enter the relevant Kahramaa electricity number in order to define the school's geographic location. Warda noted that the online registration process is functioning smoothly and takes roughly two minutes.
Concerning registration in alternative schools outside of the applicant's geographical location, she stated that the list of schools was compiled based on the distance from the student's house.
“If the school is far a little bit from the accommodation of the students, the parents can register if the transportation could be arranged,” said Warda.
Warda pointed out that the Ministry has been receiving inquiries from parents regarding registration but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be coordinating with the Public Relations and Communication Department of the Ministry to bring about an appropriate solution.
Parents can contact the Ministry's customer support centers at 155 and 44044444, or send a text message to 60020020, or use the Ministry's email and social media sites, she said. She urged the applicants to give complete and accurate registration information.
Warda also pointed out that the parents of expatriate students will be required to attach the birth certificate and a letter issued recently from the work organization by July this year, with documents being required as per the registration policies of MoEHE.
