Visitor has to stay outside for 180 days?

hi all,

I got a 3 month + 2 weeks visit visa. I exited Qatar yesterday because my visa was getting over today. When my husband tried to apply for a new visit visa it said 'Visitor hasn't completed 180 days stay outside Qatar'. I know a few weeks ago someone faced the same issue, but they sorted it out at immigration and we hear people are coming back on a fresh visit visa back to back.

I had also called Hukoomi during that time (109) as well as Indian Embassy and they both confirmed that my husband will be able to apply for a new visit visa immediately. In fact, when my husband when to immigration for an extension around Mid nov, at first they asked me to exit and then come back on a new visa. Then he gave us a 2 week extension.

Has anybody faced a similar issue in the past few days? Anybody recently who came back on back to back visa?

Any info is gladly appreciated.

Hi, i believe your really need to stay outside for 180 days before you can apply for another visit visa. I am following your post because I plan to do the same for my mom-in-law but I was hesitant after hearing this 180 days waiting period.
