Beaches to go for a BBQ in Qatar
Whether the weather is at a high or a freezing low: one thing that everyone in Qatar has in common are the absolute love for BBQ's on the beach! With various options from public beaches where you can roast a mean BBQ to some family areas, we have put together a list for everyone to enjoy the best of Qatar!
Sealine Beach, Mesaieed
Not only does Sealine beach offer a stunning sand-to-sea panoramic experience, but it is also a great place to watch a beautiful sunset tinged with beautiful yellow, pink, and orange gradients. This is also a family-friendly beach and there are also a host of activities available for everyone. You can opt for dune-bashing, quad-biking, or even fishing post-sunset. There is also a separate section of the beach that is open to the general public including bachelors too. A great option would also be to do a barbecue evening with your loved ones.

Al Wakra beach
The Al Wakra family beach is another popular spot for families because of its clear crystal waters and low tides. Your kids can enjoy dipping their feet in the sand as they spot some crabs and tiny fish swimming in the seaweed here. The main beach has gazebos and umbrellas, a perfect spot for devouring your BBQs, and also the ideal shade for these summer rays! The on-site facilities include a soccer pitch, volleyball pitch, proper BBQ stations, three playgrounds, showers, and toilets. It's the perfect beach for a stroll on a breezy evening or even a small picnic. Take advantage of the space and fly kites here or pick up seashells with your kids - a perfect beachy escape.

Dukhan beach
Dukhan public beach is situated on the western coast of Qatar and is nearly 80 km from the heart of Doha. The top spot when it comes to the most beautiful sunset. The open space beach is also suitable for swimming and camping, and the water is also a bit warmer. The spectacular views of the beach where you can enjoy watching the marine life by the shoreline are the perfect destination for your beachy getaway. There is the Dukhan Water Sports Club in the vicinity so you can check that out as well.
You can also go for snorkeling and discover the reef under the water while some members of the family can make that perfect BBQ or even a friendly game of football on the smooth sand.

Al Farkiah Beach

Introducing, our little escape at Al Farkiah Beach which is 2 km away from Al Khor Mall. If your idea is to have a bit of quiet time with your family or even just have a mini BBQ escape of your own, Al Farkiah Beach is your best deal for the most serene experience!
The beach has all facilities one would need to plan a trip including BBQ grills/stands, toilets, showers, and even a playground for the kids! It’s a fenced beach so there’s only one exit and entrance, and you’ll even find a parking space here!

Simaisma beach
With a play area designated just for kids, Simaisma is one of the more popular options for picnics on the beach. You will find canopies under which you can do BBQ under night lights and the beach mostly has a nice, cool breeze most of the time, so this can make for a pleasant getaway. There are two or three stretches of Simaisa beach that are open for separate sections of the public. In addition, when you're planning a trip to this beach, rest assured that all amenities will be available. You will find toilets, shaded areas, playgrounds, a soccer pitch, and food and drink outlets nearby.
