JOB Responsibilities:

 

· Inspection of all Blasting & Painting work carried at Workshop/Yard as well as on site at every step.

· Inspection of all incoming materials related to Blasting, Painting, and Wrapping & Insulation work.

·  Ensure the weather conditions (Relative humidity and Dew point) are suitable for surface preparation and paint  application

·     Ensure that the surface cleanliness and surface profile of blast-cleaned surface are in accordance with the specification requirements

·  Monitoring / Maintain Log & Storage Conditions of Coating / Painting Consumables as per the Project.

·     Ensure the Quality Control Inspection for all works carried out related to Painting/Coating, FBE Coating, Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA), Heat Shrink Sleeves (HSS), Hot-Dip Galvanizing, Etc.

· Preparation, Verification, Comment & Approval of Documentation (i.e.) ITP, Method of Statement, Technical Assessment & Deviation Reports etc.,

·  To ensure that all work is in full compliance with the Inspection test plan (ITP), drawings and quality standards as required in this project

· Prepare Project Coating Specification, review subcontractor’s coating procedures, Qualification & testing documents and provide support during testing activities as required. 

·     Ensuring the required safety standards during all the Stages of Coating / Painting operations.

·     To undertake test qualifications for painters & blasters.

·     Correlate all the required Speciation/ Procedures & Codes / Standards applicable to the Project.

·     Well versed with international standards like SSPC, NACE, ISO, ASTM standards in the field of Corrosion & Coating Inspection.

·     Making Maintaining Final QA/QC Documents getting it signed from the Client and Third Party. Identify quality problems and follow up non-conformity and recommend corrective and preventive actions on a continual basis.

· Support for technical needs related to various coating related issues, application procedure and QA/QC for inspection of specialized coatings.

·     Identify defective works and prepare reports indicating the divisions with respect to requirements.

·     Preparation and submission of all Progress reports.

·  Liaise with the QP QCI & TPI for day-to-day quality related project activities.

·     Inspection of all equipment’s which is used to carry out the work with valid Calibration Certificates.

· Perform surveillance, activities monitoring witness and verify all aspects with regards to painting from pretreatment, surface preparation and application, pre-inspection with contractor or subcontractor before final inspection.
