ACS Doha successfully hosts EdTech Conference 2023

ACS International School Doha has just concluded its highly successful EdTech Conference 2023, which brought together teachers, school leaders, IT professionals, and cybersecurity experts to explore digital learning and modern classroom technologies. The conference, held at ACS Doha's state-of-the-art campus, featured two keynote speakers and over 14 breakout sessions, providing a forum for attendees to learn from leading experts in the field.

The keynote speakers included Alan Greenberg, Founder of Entelechy Academy, and Dwayne Oxford, Senior Digital Product Manager at Al Jazeera. Attendees also had the opportunity to attend 14 breakout sessions and roundtable discussions on a wide range of topics, including eSports/Gamification, Digital learning in the Meta-verse, Transition from academic rigor to workplace competency, Cyber safety, Teaching and learning superpowers, VR/AR for education, STEAM projects, Building better readers and writers, Digitalization and sustainable use of energy, and Use of robotics in education.

The conference also featured a vendor market, where attendees could explore and discover future-ready technologies from over 15 different vendors. This provided an opportunity for participants to learn about cutting-edge products and services that could be incorporated into their classrooms.

This is the second successful event hosted by ACS Doha this year, following the ACS Doha's 2040 Future Skills Event held in early March at The National Museum of Qatar. The event brought together parents, students, and industry leaders to discuss future jobs and essential skills required for success in 2040.
