QAF President confirms Barshim’s readiness for the final high jump event at the Paris 2024 Olympics
Mohammed Issa Al Fadala, the President of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF), has confirmed that the injury of Mutaz Barshim, Qatari Olympic gold medalist, is not severe that occurred during the high jump event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In a statement issued by the QAF, Al Fadala confirmed that Barshim will be in an excellent shape for the upcoming high jump final on Saturday at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Barshim sustained a muscle strain in today’s high jump trial. Nevertheless, he remains resolute in his goal to defend his gold medal from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
