15th Milipol Qatar to commence tomorrow!

Under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the 15th edition of ‘Milipol Qatar’, the premier global exhibition for internal security and safety, will commence tomorrow at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). Organized by the Ministry of Interior this three-day event runs from October 29 - 31 and hosts over 250 companies and 350 official delegations, welcoming ministers of interior, senior security leaders, and experts from across the globe. 

At a recent press conference, Major General Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, highlighted the event's theme, “Technology in the Service of Security,”emphasizing Qatar's commitment to advancing technological capabilities to address modern security challenges in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030. The Milipol Qatar Committee has collaborated with French event organizer Compexposium to showcase state-of-the-art innovations in internal security. 

The event will feature 15 presentations on key security topics, including cybersecurity, civil defence, and border security. Covering an exhibition space of 23,000 square meters, with outdoor displays of the Ministry of Interior's fleet, this edition is expected to set a new attendance record and facilitate numerous international agreements. 

An international conference titled "Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety" will also be held on October 29 and 30, gathering global experts to discuss AI's role in security ethics.
