Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai re-elected as FIM Board Member
Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation President Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, who also heads the Lusail International Circuit, has been re-elected as a member of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Board of Directors, securing 70% of votes in the elections.
His renewed tenure will span a four-year term, reflecting the trust and confidence of the global motorsport community in his leadership and vision.
The elections took place on December 6, during the FIM General Assembly held in Mallorca, Spain. The event brought together key stakeholders and decision-makers from the international motorcycling world to shape the future of the sport.
Under Al Mannai’s leadership, Qatar has solidified its position as a global hub for motorsport. LIC continues to host two-wheel national and international high-profile racing events, including MotoGP, the Qatar Superstock 600 Championship, the Qatar Supersport 300 Championship, MiniGP, and various initiatives under the Qatar Motorsport Academy to nurture upcoming Qatari talent and youth.
