ab justujoo hai teri vafaa ke javaaz ki
jee chaahata hai tujh ko vafa aashnaa kahooN

sirf is liye ke ishq isi ka zahoor hai
main tere Husn ko bhi saboot-e-vafaa kahooN

too chal diya to kitne Haqaaiq badal gaye
najm-e-saHar ko marqad-e-shab ka diyaa kahooN

kia jabr hai ke but ko bhi kehna paRay Khudaa
voh hai khuda to mere Khuda tujh ko kiaa kahooN

jab mere mooNh mein meri zabaaN hai to kyuN na maiN
jo kuch kahooN, yaqeeN se kahooN barmalaa kahooN

kia jaane kis safar pe ravaaN hooN azal se maiN
har intehaa ko aik nayee ibtidaa kahooN

ho kyuN na mujh ko apne mazaaq-e-sukhan pe naaz
Ghaalib ko kaainaat-e-sukhan ka khudaa kahooN
