Al-Gharrafa's assault continued in the second-half as Qatar SC hardly made it out of their half. Not long after the restart, Anas Mubarak made it 3-0 to virtually seal the match.
There was still time for two late goals as Moroccan midfielder Othman El-Assas scored in the 88th minute and de Araujo completed his hat-trick.
Earlier, Al-Shamal retained third place in the league table after they drew 0-0 with Al Arabi.
