DVD Review
I was away on duty so did not have the time to go to cinema, but did manage to watch some DVD's.

Man of the Year,
Starring ; Robin Williams
Back of the Box :
Talk show host decides to run for the office of President of US, due to a computer glitch he wins the election. He finds out about this and facing dilemma whether to stay as President or not.
This was a boring movie, complete waste of time. Just did not make sense at all, Robin Williams was disappointing, his acting was horrible.
Verdict ; Give this a miss

Gridiron Gang:
Starring; Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson & Xzibit (MTV Pimp my Ride)
Back of the box:
Rock is a juvenile probation officer who devises a plan to teach discipline and responsibility to young offenders through the game of football.
The Rock can't act, that I knew so his complete lack of talent in acting came as no surprise. Xzibit should really stick to pimping people's rides rather than getting into acting, he was horrible and completely out of place.
Story is inspirational, been there done that, nothing new, nothing refreshing same ole inspiration BS, hundred movies of this idea have been done in last few years and almost all of them were failures and this movie is no exception.
Not one good actor in the movie, story predictable and production quality poor.

Stick it
Starring ; Jeff Bridges & Missy Peregrym
Back of the box;
After scrape with law, Haley (Missy) finds herself, sentenced to attend elite gymnastics academy run by coach Bridges.
Jeff and missy were both awful in this movie, both were out of place. Casting was poor, supporting actors were all crap, I guess they were selected because of gymnastic skills rather than acting skills and it showed.
Story worse than acting, well I am not really sure if there was a story in this movie, I felt it was more like just random events. Unrealistic events to be more precise, I liked some of the cinematography of the gymnastic routines but that was about it.
Verdict; Give this a miss.

Red Eye
Starring; Rachel MacAdams & Cillian Murphy
Back of the Box;
Rachel is flying to Miami and moments after take-off seatmate Cillian reveals that he is a operative in plot to kill rich businessman and Rachel is key to it success. If she refuses to co-operate, her father will be killed by an assassin.
Plot of the movie is weak, why Cillian let her board the plane and then try to persuade her to help him. It could be done more easily by just kidnapping her and taking her to a controlled area rather than doing it in plane where she could try to seek help. Good movie should have a believable feel, weak plot is not a recipe for a good movie.
This movie had nothing going for it from start to finish, weak plot, weak script and story was totally predictable.
Rachel looked pretty so that kinda kept me entertained other than that this movie was a disaster.
Verdict ; Give this a miss
