For those of you who are PS3 owners....I have a U.S. model and was wondering if it will play the games sold here in Qatar (PAL) or if it needs a chip upgrade like the PS2 to play regional games. I know the DVD player will not play non U.S. region DVDs but was curious about games. Didn't want to waste money on a locally bought game if it would not work. My kids are shipping over their Nintendo Wii and understand that it does not have any compatibility problems with local games...correct?
