In the future when man reaches out to the stars and possibly discovers alien life in this galaxy or one of the hundreds of millions out there, what happens if we encouter this situation.

We find a planet with 20 billion intelligent lifeforms who only have one religion revealed to their messengers through angels teaching the way to live life, but in their religion there are many Gods. This religion has been lived and taught for thousands of our earth years and the people are very devout.

My question is. Is there a possiblity there are other Gods in the Universe or are these aliens wrong in their belief?
