A great cafe and bakery that tastes like home!

Tim Horton’s is a great place to grab an inexpensive coffee when you are meeting a friend or are on the go. I am Canadian so I guess that is the great appeal for this brand.

However, I believe many others can enjoy this spot. It caters to all income brackets as coffee, sandwiches and snacks like donuts and Tim bits are affordable! They even have healthy options like their yogurt parfait and soup! This makes it great for the entire family in my books.

They bake their bread daily which is really appealing when you are feeling for a sandwich or tasty toasted bagel with cream cheese. This makes the perfect launch for when you are alone, on a quick lunch break at work or have some time on the weekend.

If you need a quick fix for breakfast, they also offer an array of breakfast sandwiches, that you can order with a hash brown and coffee. It may similar to McDonald’s, but I believe the quality is slightly better - not to mention the environment.

But personally, I come here daily for the coffee. The environment is warm and friendly and the medium coffee at 9QR is perfect. Recently, they launched a new dark roast which is a little bit stronger and quite a nice change from their usual brew. If you order a double double..be prepared to enjoy the perfect ratio of cream, sugar and coffee that makes up the Canadian trademark!

Besides drinking my hot delicious coffee, I enjoy the atmosphere! The chairs and booths are comfy and I can hangout, read a book, browse the net or chat to a friend. The music is never too loud and I never feel rushed. The staff is super friendly, the place is super clean and they also offer free wifi which is a nice bonus. 

So, the next time you are feeling like a little bit of Canadian culture - comforting, relaxed and easy going..take a trip to your nearest Tim Horton's. Maybe you can try the one in Al Gharrafa, You will never leave disappointed!
