My father lives in NL, just outside of Amsterdam, and I have been there many, many times, from a week to just over a month. It is a lovely place to visit, though I would not really like to live in Amsterdam proper. Too expensive and as someone said earlier, not my cup of tea. It is a brilliant place to visit, but not to live; not for me anyway.

Your question is a bit too broad, but if you have more specific questions, by all means message me and i can do my best to help you out.

I think in Amsterdam, MJ horticulture is legal.. that means, you can also have to the legal weeds, in Amsterdam, where you are going.

I have been to Amsterdam in previous years for at least 3 times and I liked the city very much. If you want to know some of basic information about the place, searching through internet is the BEST way. I am a frequent traveller and every time I want to see any place, I always go to the internet. Like what I did, when I travelled to New York last July 2009. I have searched the places I needed to visit, how to use the sub-way, how are the attractions that NY offered, hotels info, broadway shows that I have watched, and near-by cities to visit. Try this one and you will get lots of info. Hope this helps. Enjoy the trip.
