2000QR?? I didnt even fly and Mekkah and Madina road trip costed me around 5000. Better to do your own research now, now that you know it can run from cheap to expensive. But seriously where were the room that costed that cheap, i was told the same and even crappy places were no less than 350.

HAVE A NICE UMRA!

you have to have Omra Visa, which is free from Saudy Embassy, but you have to contact any service agent for the visa, he will charge you internet approval charge which is not much. It seems QR.150.

Then when you reach in Holy Makha you can take a room in the hotel costing 150-250 riyals per day. but you can find hotel your self according to your standered. secondly there is no problem of hotels in Makkah and Madina.

Overall it may cost you for food and accommodation below 2,ooo. riyals for a week.

Umrah Visa cost i beleive 100 or 200 QR/each, air fare is about 200-400QR depending what kind of deal you get, room in Mekkah cost 250-400QR/per night for 3-4star hotels. I was there last month and i got an online deal for room in a 4 star hotel for 350QR a night, walking was 500, so make sure book ur room before u leave for umrah.
