when is the start of Eid-al-Adha? and when it will end? When will the company must resume to work after this holiday. Please give me some answer because until now we are working and they not even announcing the vacation. My boss is a Christian so I think he doesn't care. But I've heard that there's a law regarding this. Please let me know... Please... Thanks a lot

You got to ask your boss. My Company started Eid today(7th) and we will resume work on Sunday the 14th. But it is up to your Company to how many days you get off.

Actually it depends on your company's policy but as per Qatar lobor law, it is three working days. If there is any friday among these three days, the holidays will be extended to four as to compensate friday.

this time official holdidays are from 8th to 10th Dec 2008

It dosn't matter your boss is christian or hindu. Each and every company inside Qatar has to follow Qatar laws.

Why don't you ask him? He might know more than we here in QL. Every company is different, some has only 2-3 days, others has more.

Better check with him.
