The "New" Wakra Beach
I was in this beach yesterday from 9 am to 12 noon. Weather is good and the water is fantastic. Saw a lot of beachgoer with their family and children. There are also some couples who brought their pet dogs. Next time, my Chin-Chin will be with me also!
Anyone who's been there lately? What say yah?

is the second R/A upon entering Al Wakra. On the right side of the road before the R/A are the food outlets of KFC, Dunkin etc.
Shell is not a petrol station, it's a roundabout!
Its the 'pearl' round about that you have to look for (the only round about in that stretch of road with a landmark). Go left upon reaching that round about then take a U turn then on your right is the road to the beach.
I tried to go to wakra beach today with your directions and their is no shell anywhere only a mobil and a wakra petrol station. I went so far that i reached the road to sealine looking for the shell station. If anyone has better directions I would really appreciate it as my lil doggies are dying to go! Thanks :)

Thanks flor! May see you there one day! well,I will look out for a chin-chin! We have a black/white spaniel,golden retriever and small jack russell....hard to miss that little lot!!!!!!!
go toward south to Al Wakra/Messaid. Upon reaching Wakra, turn left on second R/A (shell R/A) and go straight 'til you reach the end of the road and take a U-turn. After the U-turn, turn right and you'll see the beach on your right.

we'll go there with chin-chin this friday early morning so by 8 or 9 am, we'l be heading back to Doha.
