Hi Friends ..
I'm planning to visit 7 days in Malaysia &Thailand.Help me 4Best Season ,Places,Travel route and flight with medium range.I like medium adventure and calm and quite places with greenery... [ Im going alone, if nybdy, I welcomes U.. :) ]
1 day is not enough for Malacca as it's a UNESCO heritage site, you need at least three.
Penang you can do in 2 days, concentrating on UNESCO heritage sites around Georgetown.
KL you will need 3 or 4 days to see the best stuff.
That will just about fill your week and give you no time for Thailand.
To be brutal, you are trying to fit too much into a 1 week holiday. I'd pick one country or the other, and of course, I'd recommend Malaysia where your buck will go further without having to witness the seedy side of the far east.
I love Thailand and the Thai people. The area near Chiang Rai and especially the Tribal peoples. This area is in the mountains and very cool, very green and beautiful. Bangkok is rather wild and the air is polluted -- hard on your lungs. But if you stay in Bangkok, my fav hotel is in China Town (not the touristy areas) - part of th Royal Princess Hotels and Resorts Group -- but nice and very reasonable. The hotel is named: Grand China Princess www.grandchina.com .. 215 Yaowarat Rd., Samphantawong China Town, Bangkok, 10100, Thailand +66 2 2249977. Get the best price on AsiaRooms.com then fax the sales manager - sales department and ask him to make a better price for you. Rack rate will be much higher. The hotel attracts many tourists from Australia and New Zealand. It has a very nice breakfast included and the dinner buffet is very reasonable. They have a great healthclub and offer wonderful full hour leg and foot massages for a very reasonable price. The perfect ending after walking and shopping all day. Revolving lounge on top and rooftop pool. Nice place to relax. Dusit Thani International, the company that owns Royal Princess has http://www.dusit.com/corporate/brands/brand_thani.html

has locations in other locations. Chiang Rai, Dubai, Cairo, Manilla, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Bangkok. They have always provided good service and treated me right. Have fun...And let us know about your trip.
Malaysia essentially observes tropical weather, but the best part is it is never too hot. Humidity is a common feature, which can be duly expected from its proximity to waters. With the exception of highlands, the climate is by and large moderately hot and extremely sultry. Throughout the year, the temperature ranges from 20°C to 30°C on an average.
Thailand's climate is tropical, high both in temperature and humidity, and dominated by monsoons. April and May are the hottest months of the year, when even the locals are moved to complain about the heat. June sees the beginning of the South West Monsoon, and brings with it the rainy season, which continues intermittently until the end of October.
From November to the end of February the climate is much less trying with a cooling North East breeze and a reduction in the humidity level. This is also the main tourist season, and the best time to visit Thailand.
The north and north-east are generally cooler than Bangkok in winter, and hotter in summer. In the far north, around Mae Hong Son temperatures can occasionally drop as low as 2oC.
Qatar's winter months are brimming with unmissable experiences, from the AFC Asian Cup 2023 to the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 and a variety of outdoor adventures and cultural delights.

OK, now I have more time, more detail.

The cost of hotel in Malaysia will cost you around US30 per day . food about US15 (normal simple food)- Indian food (US10)
In Thailand, the cost is about the same if you are a shoe string traveller.not too ambitious type,
If you have excess fund to try out , then sandwich massage may cost you US100 .
Take care.

2nd day - goes to Malacca , 3 hours drive away to enjoy the old tradition town life;
3rd day come back to Kuala Lumpur and goes to Genting Highland to relax for the temp about 20 degreec C.
4th day - fly to Bangkok, Capital city of Thailand. stay 2 nights ther a have a glimpse
5th day - in Bangkok

After seeing lots of Malaysia, I'm no longer a fan of Thailand!
Try Malacca, Penang, Genting, KL of course.
Tiger and Air Asia offer really cheap flights between all major destinations. Don't even consider the train. I did. What a mistake. So slow!

Personally, I don't like both weathers......
