Pakistan vs Holland, hockey update!

Paandu
By Paandu

The Pakistan team will start arriving on Saturday evening with their Dutch coach flying in first.

The team will arrive on 17th and 18th Mornings with the full Dutch contingent expected to arrive on Saturday morning.

Matches will be played @ 5.30 pm on Wednesday and Thursday 20and 21 Jan. at Al Rayyan Hockey Stadium.

QHF have arranged adequate seating for families and school children

The stall and side shows are expected to begin at 4 pm.

The teams are taking this as their final rehearsel before the world cup and hence spectators and fans can expect some good quality hockey, which would be of a better standard than ever witnessed in Qatar.

QHF too is treating this as a warm up for the Indo Pak series for which serious discussions will take place with the visiting PHF senior officials . Hockey India have been requested to send a representative to partake in the discussions.

Yeah the arrangements were poor...but the environment was ELECTRONIC :-)

Just wondering, when will THEY adopt a Non-Discriminatory Policy for Families & Bachelors. The seating make shift seating for bachelors was awful. Rest was done by the Security Personnel...with their rude attitude towards the guys...even not allowing them to have Megaphone & Trumpet :(

by the way...who was the guy doing commentary on the megaphone? is he a QLer by any chance? :-)
