Shell to host F1 driver Massa in Qatar

Shell will be hosting Scuderia Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa, in Doha ahead of the first race of the 2010 season at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Massa’s appearance in Doha begins on the morning of March 10 where he will participate in a number of events and engagement activities with the public and media, and he will appear alongside his signature Ferrari Formula One car.
Massa became an official driver for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team in 2006. He won six Grand Prix in 2008, more than any other driver that season, and claimed six pole positions. He missed out on the Drivers’ Championship by only a single point and following a difficult 2009 season will be aiming to re-create that winning form for his return to racing 2010.
Massa’s visit to Qatar marks a long partnership between two historic motorsport brands. Since the beginning of the technical partnership over 60 years ago, Shell has powered and protected Scuderia Ferrari to ten Formula One Constructors’ Championships and 12 Drivers’ Titles.
