I am a highly organized and self-driven individual, passionate about developing my career in the field of Accounting and Finance. I have more than 4 & half years of experience working at Jayasinghe & Company - Precedent Partner company of Russellbedford at Qatar(Chartered Accountants) in Sri Lanka as well as in Qatar and also four years of commercial experience including as an Accountant of leading video production, marketing and advertising Company in Sri Lanka and as an Accountant of Webmart Lanka (Pvt) Ltd for one year and I promoted to Financial Manager Position at Webmart Lanka PVT LTD for present Sri Lanka. As well, I have completed three years of the ICASL accounting and auditing practical training agreement while obtaining diverse industry knowledge with multiple clients and serving maximum to the organizations in different job roles. Furthermore, I have a comprehensive understanding of complex accounting methods, and experience within an internal or external audit environment. Also, I have gained extensive insight into this field by applying theoretical knowledge under the SLAuS, LKAS and SLFRS guidelines. (Same as International Reporting Standards) Thanks to these experiences, I am confident in the use of various Accounting and Auditing software that is currently available, especially I am an expert in using SAP, QB, MYOB, Tally and Excel (Macro & Power query), Ms Dynamics as some companies prefer their data to be on a program that they're familiar with.
I place great emphasis on attention to detail while I'm working for a company. My main goal is to improve the company's efficiency and its processes by boosting their productivity.
