In general, you need to go to the Police Department in your home City/Country, ask them for “Police Clearance Certificate”, in the USA we call it (CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD NAME SEARCH REQUEST) they usually do name search only, and then take it to the Ministry of Interior then Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Qatar Embassy, that’s all, don’t complicate things by requesting such certificate from FBI as they do fingerprints search which takes very long time.
