Getting married to a Qatari is a long complicated procedure. Have you discussed this with your fiance? Before you even get the government approval her family needs to be totally behind your marriage and you have to be muslim. I know from personal experience that a brother with connections (wasta) in the government can stop his adult brother from marrying a girl he loves.All because she was from elsewhere. All very, very unfair! If I were you I'd get married to her in the US or settle elsewhere. Please make sure you know what you're getting into. This society is very cruel to outsiders.
