I have a similar service to Vonage called Viatalk. been using it in Qatar for 2 years now, and no major problems. but now for the last two days it has not been working also. I checked with viatalk, they could not tell me where the problem is but they don't have other reports of issues like mine in the US, and there is no reported issues on their side.
So I guess that the stories about Qtel blocking the Voip traffic might be true. I hope that they are not, I hope that its just temporary. We have been spoiled for the last 2 years using this for our call back to the US, i don't think we can live here without it.
