I never had good opinion of LG AC, its not that great, so is Samsung... the service is not too great. My LG window AC broke its compressor in the 2nd year & they replaced it for me, but they charged almost QR:450 saying labour & some other parts need to be changed. So in effect they go the price of Compresssor out of me, for an AC which cost only QR: 1100.
I would really recommend General AC, they're real workhorses, we have a couple of them for years and amazingly silent and robust. remember its not General Cool, but General, near Sana R/A
