I dont see how this could be a "typical local invalid employee" issue as this is on his passport printed in India, so how can you say it is a "local" issue. Read the question before posting nonesense. 

Go to imigration and apply for your Visa, if you have a valid marriage certificate and birth cirtificate you will be fine.
