I'd say it's barely worth the effort and cost to do.

It's not impossible but whilst taking the engine and box out isn't particularly difficult you need to consider the fact that the wiring loom, driveshafts, shift linkages, pedals, possibly engine subframes, gearbox mounts, etc, will all need changing too.
