Or did not befriend a person because others did not like her/him and you did not like to be the oddball out? "
Do you think these things were invented in the West and are unique to the West because I see those things here in the ME as well and not just amongst people from the West. In short evil exists everywhere amongst all races and religions but to say one sector of society has a monopoly on it is pretty short sighted.
You also said the problem is with democracy because it is governed by Human intellect. What about dictatorships, a monarchy, or any other form of government. Should we just toss out this type of governing of the people and let religions fill the void that will be left? Which religion should rule? I'm sure I know your answer to that but what about the different sects or groups within a religion whether it be Protestant or Catholic or Sunni or Shia - which one is right, which is wrong, which should be the one to rule?
