I would seriously get to the stadium early!!! History indicates that the authorities will busload hundrds of labourers into the stadium for the usual reason and if you are not in your paid for seat by say 5pm then.................. deja vu!!!!! - Asian Cup Final!!! Remember, event management in Qatar is currently an art that eludes the authorities. I genuinely thought about buying tickets for the famly for the opening ceremony but you just KNOW its going to be farcical in its management - it always is and nothing has changed!! It'll look great on the television for sure but BEING THERE is going to be fraught with problems and it will ALL end in tears!!!
