Why is Qatar don’t have any government sectors whose checking this animals welfare? Don’t tell me they don’t have any policies or guidelines that shops should followed? But yes moonbeam were living on the real world & its not happening now... I think someone from QAWS should talk & seek for government help. Maybe Qatar government is too busy to see this issues. They can start by being very strict in giving business permits to this shops to avoid such problems.There should also be proper and serious checking if this shops really following animals welfare programs / guidelines. Government must also have their monthly or quarterly surprise visit schedules to make sure that this shops following this constantly
Nevertheless, until the government dont make any steps to solve this problems the most affected here is the poor animals!
Irresponsible pet shop owners should be the one to put in a cage & drown in the middle of the sea!
