Alecscotland, I admire your persistent effort to get your "get real" message to anyone who may not have the effort to find truth into your assertions.
Disparaging the country and all its citizenry is not the way to get your ideas a buy-in no matter how noble they are.
I did not have a spine-tingling sensation when I saw your website or the pdf file but rather I was aghast at the half truths the were passed off as gospel truths.

Your e-book and your website begins with the following quote: "I prefer a country run like hell by Filipinos to a country run like heaven by Americans..." as said by President Manuel L. Quezon.
I may not be an intelligent man but as I remember from my history class the whole statement is:
"I prefer a country run like hell by Filipinos to a country run like heaven by Americans, because however bad a Filipino government might be, we can always change it.” It was said at a time when Governor Generals were appointed by the US President and not elected by the people.

So why begin your proposition with a half-truth (a lie) and then demand the entire nation to "Get Real"? BE REAL FIRST.

For me, anything that begins with a lie is a whole lie!

Until you can satisfy me in explaining why begin your assertion with a half-truth or a lie, you can never convince me with your noble ideas.

Also be fair to MLQ, don't misquote him!
