but I rang all the schools listed, Supernurse, and was told that they were all choc full in Sept '08 (when we arrived here in May)! In despair, I visited one over-subscribed English speaking school and spoke to the Headteacher in person. We had a brief interview on the spot and my child was accepted immediately. We have British passports and I think the English speaking schools are keen to offer spaces to those whose first language is English. I might add that I've met some wonderful families of all nationalities there. I guess we were lucky, and I accept the 70-minute commute twice a day as a result!
