Alexa and Nadt... I've had this discussion with fellow colleagues last week, while conducting a training about teaching Character Education. Some teachers were ready to give up, others already did, but a significant number were ready to keep going, fighting for a better word does start in class... those parents were students once... now I do know that parents play an important, vital role in kids manners, but it actually can work the other way around... two years ago, my 6 years old daughter lectured my about her rights for a clean/healthy environment, and asked me to refrain from smoking in her presence... she changed my habits, so those kids might end up teaching their parents...
It's tough, might not work, .... yep, but what' the other option?
