It is a very poor hospital in terms of nurse care and actual medical attention. They almost killed a person due to their negligence and probably would have done if I had not been there. They prescribe drugs like they are sweets and give treatments that make them more money rather than because they have any medical value.
In any other country these people would come under the control of a medical council of some sort. In Al Ahli they come under the control of accountants.
From my experience as an expat, I am not sure if there are any really good medical facilities in Doha and I would not recommend anyone staying here to have medical treatment if they could go to Europe, USA, etc.
