it is very common here in the middle east..it says something about their kind of people...

i'm speaking in general here coz i also know some arabs / arab families here who are genuinely very nice and kind hearted people...

the bottom line is that most of these middle easterners are hyprocrites by hiding themselves behind the sanctity of their religion to cover up that they stink as humans...
