David: i see where you are coming from and you have made valid points.
sharing your flat is a different thing, like if i have a choice, i will not share my place with someone who cooks pork (but i have done that before). however, people of nationality X do not even make an effort to socialise with people of nationality Y or Z. i personally cannot justify it under the names of nationalism or racism or religion or seeking comfort blah blah. a colleague of mine refused to join another colleague for food without a legitimate reason and it annoyed me. what is there to lose?
before my QL buddies shoot me, let me clarify, i have been in qatar for 4 months now and i have met really nice persian+moroccon+americam+english+qatari+srilankan +indians friends here whom i try to hang out with and invite home for dinner.
