was keenly observing for worthy debate excercise but so far, only one thing i can say;
david baner, as you were saying you were trying to raise an "intelligent conversation or debate", i really doubt if you can upheld your ground on the stance of that challenge. simply put, your intelligence doesn't show the definition and true meaning of the word.
maybe if you are really intelliently so, you could have tried and proven quickly at first barrage of your thoughts, to had appeared so intelligently, by making your point convincingly acceptable to majority, but so far you had misserably failed on that.
then in retaliatory defense, you had quickly pointed out ignorance and stupitidy of others in their remarks simply because they contradicted your own point of view. what kind of debate is that? that action in itself shows your lack of understanding on what you had initiated in the first place...i.e, to have an "intelligent debate".
if only you had stated solid facts and figures to support your argument, that could have been more respectable and harder to contradict. however, you had simply threaded on false pretext and subjective assumptions by generalizing this and that.
it's evidently conclusive that engaging you in what you call "intelligent debate" would just be concluded a futile exercise and wastages of time.
and regarding that of apparently having a hard time finding work and accomodation, that i was simply amused. If in these part of the world wherein white expats had the upperhand in selection process due to racial biases, how was it that you find it hard to succeed? i really wonder how more of descrimination will one face back at his homeland? is that how intelligent people really experience in reality?
now that really amuses me a lot, "intelligent" eh? :P
regarding "pigs", i would rather be called stupid rather than be called "intelligent" whom had led their own country's economy to what it is now... shambles!
too much "intelligent" people running the show and look where they are now, scrambling elsewhere to find a job because they cannot find one back home...
